Spånga IS FK

Spånga IS FK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Spånga IS FK, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Spånga IS FK could be found in Group 22 together with La Salésienne de Paris 2, Beirut FAC and Storfors AIK. Spånga IS FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Åkarps IF with 0-1. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over ACBB Paris and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Spånga IS FK comes from Spånga which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Spånga does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Djurgårdens DFF, Hammarby IF, Bollstanäs SK, Ingarö IF, Bällsta FF, Stuvsta IF, Järna SK, Håbo FF, Hammarby IF DFF and Enebybergs IF).
