Esporte Uniao

Esporte Uniao was one of 18 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Esporte Uniao, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Esporte Uniao could be found in Group 22 together with GAIS, FC Este 2012 and Garuda Keadilan FC. Esporte Uniao continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Rönninge Salem Fotboll with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Dundalk Schoolboys League and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Esporte Uniao comes from sao paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around sao paulo does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Hipica Campinas, Monte Libano, Independente FC, Clube Campo Belo, Space/Ordin, Saint Clair, BRFC, Santo Americo, Pinheiros, E.C. and Pequeninos do Jockey).
