Sandvikens AIK

Sandvikens AIK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sandvikens AIK, 221 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Sandvikens AIK could be found in Group 46 together with JSG Sudweyhe, Ljungby IF 1 and JSC Pitray-Olier Paris 2. Sandvikens AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kållereds SK with 0-1. In the Final, Lørenskog IF won over Bromstens IK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Sandvikens AIK comes from Sandviken which lies approximately 420 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sandviken does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Sandvikens IF, Gefle IF, Årsunda IF, Brynäs IF/FK and Gävle GIK/FK).
