Klepp IL

Klepp IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Klepp IL, 61 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Klepp IL could be found in Group 11 together with ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, Älvsjö AIK FF 1 and IK Zenith. Klepp IL made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against LSK kvinner FK with 5-6. Thereby Klepp IL finished second in G18 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2015. Klepp comes from Kleppe which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Klepp IL, the club Varhaug IL does also originate from the area around Kleppe.
