Åga IL

Åga IL was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Åga IL, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Åga IL could be found in Group 27 together with JSG Kawu, Håbro IF and Måbjerg IF. Åga IL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Näsets SK/Utsikten 1 with 1-2. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Torslanda IK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Åga comes from Mo i Rana which lies approximately 960 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Åga IL, the club Mo IL does also originate from the area around Mo i Rana.
