Sædalen

Sædalen was one of 42 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Sædalen, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Sædalen could be found in Group 6 together with Pequeninos do Jockey, IFK Falköping FF 1 and Shenyang Football School. Sædalen continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IF FF Hammarby with 0-2. In the Final, Tokyo Verdy won over IF FF Hammarby and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Sædalen also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2014. They reached the Semi final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against TSV Havelse with 1-3. Sædalen comes from Bergen which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Sædalen, the club Åsane IL does also originate from the area around Bergen.
