Ellicott Soccer Club

Ellicott Soccer Club was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ellicott Soccer Club, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Ellicott Soccer Club could be found in Group 13 together with Samaya FA, TV Stuhr eV and IFK Falköping FF 2. Ellicott Soccer Club continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ale United with 2-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Dundalk Schoolboys League and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Ellicott Soccer comes from Ellicott City which lies approximately 6300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Ellicott Soccer Club, the club ASL SC does also originate from the area around Ellicott City.
