Gammelstads IF

Gammelstads IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Gammelstads IF, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Gammelstads IF could be found in Group 23 together with Järna SK, KA and Norrköping, IFK. Gammelstads IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Morön BK with 4-5. In the Final, IFK Västerås FK won over Tölö IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Gammelstads comes from Gammelstad which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gammelstad does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Norrsken, FC, Luleå Sportklubb, Sunderby SK, Luleå Damfotboll and Lira BK).
