BK Astrio

BK Astrio was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to BK Astrio, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof BK Astrio could be found in Group 10 together with Billesholms IK, Norco Soccer Club and Sunderby SK. BK Astrio continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Bergdalens IK with 3-5. In the Final, IFK Västerås FK won over Tölö IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Astrio comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Halmstad does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Vinbergs IF, Skrea IF, Halmstads BK, Laholms FK, IS Halmia, IF Böljan, Centern, IF, HGH, Hasslöv/Skottorp and Falkenbergs FF).
