MTV Egestorf

MTV Egestorf was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to MTV Egestorf, 132 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof MTV Egestorf could be found in Group 24 together with FC Elva, Oppsal IF and Västerås SK FK. MTV Egestorf continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against TSV Altenholz with 2-3. In the Final, Vake-WIT won over Heikendorfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Egestorf comes from Egestorf which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Egestorf does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (FC Este 2012, TSV Buchholz 08 and MTV Treubund Lüneburg).
