Wargöns IK

Wargöns IK was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Wargöns IK, 214 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Wargöns IK could be found in Group 49 together with Alsike IF, SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and VIFK Blue. Wargöns IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 49. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Färjestadens GoIF with 0-3. In the Final, Lillestrøm SK won over Fc Franconville PB and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Wargöns comes from Vänersborg which lies approximately 74 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vänersborg does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Halvorstorps IS/ Trollhättans FK, Ljungskile SK, Henåns IF, Melleruds IF, Vänersborgs IF, Skoftebyns IF, IK Oddevold, Trollhättans FK and Herrestads AIF).
