Eriksbergs IF

Eriksbergs IF was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Eriksbergs IF, 117 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Eriksbergs IF could be found in Group 15 together with BK Ljungsbro, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF/VMA IK and Olympiques de Repentigny. Eriksbergs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skultorps IF with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Västerås FK won over Tölö IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Eriksbergs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 78 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Särö IK, Balltorps/KSK, Kungsbacka IF, Älvängens IK, Lindome GIF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten, Näsets SK and Finlandia-Pallo AIF).
