Olympic, BK

Olympic, BK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Olympic, BK, 115 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Olympic, BK could be found in Group 21 together with Lyngdal IL, Barnes Eagles and Rapid Bukarest. Olympic, BK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Kinetic Academy 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Kinetic Academy 1 won over F.C. Beirut 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Olympic, comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: LB07, Torns IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, Skurups DFF, Uppåkra IF, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, IFK Klagshamn, Staffanstorps GIF, Viridis Skurup FC and Glumslövs FF).
