Kent Sports Academy

Kent Sports Academy was one of three clubs from Uganda that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Kent Sports Academy, 115 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Kent Sports Academy could be found in Group 20 together with Skogstorps GoIF, KF Prizren Spor and JSG Heidenau/Holvede. Kent Sports Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken with 0-3. In the Final, BK Häcken won over Lärje Angered IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Kent Sports Academy comes from Kampala which lies approximately 6600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Kent Sports Academy, the club Kampala Junior Team does also originate from the area around Kampala.
