Hagaströms SK

Hagaströms SK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Hagaströms SK, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Hagaströms SK could be found in Group 12 together with Girls 4 Change, Gideonsbergs IF 2 and Askims IK. Hagaströms SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Timrå with 0-1. In the Final, Tuve IF won over Södra Sandby IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Hagaströms SK comes from Gävle which lies approximately 440 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gävle does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Sandvikens IF, Sandvikens AIK, Gefle IF, Torsåkers IF, Årsunda IF, Högbo AIK and Valbo FF).
