Lira BK

Lira BK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Lira BK, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Lira BK could be found in Group 11 together with Gideonsbergs IF, Södra Sandby IF and OGC Nice. Lira BK made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Boo FF with 0-2. Thereby Lira BK finished second in G15 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2014. Lira comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Svartbjörnsbyns IF, Gammelstads IF, Sunderby SK and FC Norrsken).
