La Academia FC

La Academia FC was the only club from Guatemala that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to La Academia FC, 207 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof La Academia FC could be found in Group 26 together with Gunnilse IS, Bollstanäs SK 1 and Accademia Gaggiano. La Academia FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Siam Youth FC with 1-2. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. La Academia FC also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Bollstanäs SK 1 with 1-3. La Academia FC comes from Guatemala which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
