Rågsveds IF

Rågsveds IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Rågsveds IF, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Rågsveds IF could be found in Group 30 together with Stenungsunds IF 2, Skedsmo and JSSL Arsenal Singapore 1. Rågsveds IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against KF Gjakova with 2-5. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Rågsveds comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 60 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Enskede IK, IFK Lidingö, IFK Lidingö FK, Bollstanäs SK, IF Brommapojkarna, Boo FF, Stuvsta IF, BP Hässelängen, Ekerö IK and Vasalunds IF).
