Ajax Sarkkiranta

Ajax Sarkkiranta was one of 14 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Ajax Sarkkiranta, 120 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Ajax Sarkkiranta could be found in Group 15 together with Dalen/KFF 2, Barkarö SK 1 and South Central FC 2. Ajax Sarkkiranta continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken Gul with 0-10. In the Final, Assyriska BK won over IF Brommapojkarna 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Ajax Sarkkiranta comes from Kempele which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Ajax Sarkkiranta, the club Oulu Nice Soccer does also originate from the area around Kempele.
