Futura, FC

Futura, FC was one of 14 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Futura, FC, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Futura, FC could be found in Group 1 together with FH, Hjuviks AIK and IF Brommapojkarna F01-1. Futura, FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vaksala SK with 0-3. In the Final, AIK FF won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Futura, FC comes from Borgå which lies approximately 840 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borgå does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Tikkurilan Palloseura and Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa).
