Eriksbergs IF

Eriksbergs IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Eriksbergs IF, 42 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Eriksbergs IF could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Göteborg, NSA and IFK Aspudden-Tellus 2. Eriksbergs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Zenith with 0-5. In the Final, Näsets SK 2 won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Eriksbergs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK and Tölö FF).
