Thompson Valley FC

Thompson Valley FC was one of five clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Thompson Valley FC, 190 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Thompson Valley FC could be found in Group 10 together with IFK Falköping FF, IFK Skövde and Concordia Eschersheim 1958 e.V., SG. Thompson Valley FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Upsala IF with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Lidingö FK won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Thompson Valley FC comes from Kamloops which lies approximately 7200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
