Lerkils IF

Lerkils IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Lerkils IF, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Lerkils IF could be found in Group 8 together with Euro Sports Brasil, Vaksala SK and Rönninge Salem Fotboll 2. Lerkils IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-4. In the Final, AIK FF won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Lerkils comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 29 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Jitex BK, Askims IK, Tölö FF, Öckerö IF and Balltorps FF).
