V.V. Heijen

V.V. Heijen was one of two clubs from the Netherlands that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to V.V. Heijen, 207 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof V.V. Heijen could be found in Group 35 together with Weiße Elf Nordhorn, Vfl, Vänersborgs IF and Glumslövs FF /IK Wormo. V.V. Heijen continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SF, Grei with 2-4. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. V.V. Heijen comes from Heijen which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
