Maharashtra was one of 15 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Maharashtra, 106 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 26 different groups, whereof Maharashtra could be found in Group 8 together with IK Zenith Grön, NK BUBAMARA and Brämhults IK. Maharashtra continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fc Franconville PB with 0-3. In the Final, Fc Franconville PB won over AV 84 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Maharashtra comes from new Delhi which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around new Delhi does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (United India FC, Delhi Public School, Real Football Academy and Glacier FC).
