Kick Off Academy

Kick Off Academy was one of four clubs from Tanzania that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Kick Off Academy, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Kick Off Academy could be found in Group 1 together with SK Vard Haugesund 1, Fässbergs IF and FC Zwingen. Kick Off Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Vallentuna BK with 1-2. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over FC Rueil Malmaison and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Kick Off Academy comes from daresalaam which lies approximately 7600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around daresalaam does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School and Dar es salaam Independent School).
