Årvoll

Årvoll was one of 55 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Årvoll, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Årvoll could be found in Group 6 together with Näsets SK, CFH Esportes and Essinge IK. Årvoll continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Slagelse BI with 0-2. In the Final, NK KRŠKO won over ASIOP Apacint and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Årvoll comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Skjetten SK, Gjelleråsen IF, Nittedal IL, Nesodden IF, Strømmen IF, Gruner Fotball, Lørenskog IF, Oppsal IF, Lillestrøm SK and Hauger FK).
