FC Viikingit

FC Viikingit was one of 15 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to FC Viikingit, 76 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof FC Viikingit could be found in Group 13 together with Varhaug, Lillån FK and ATSV Scharmbeckstotel. FC Viikingit continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skattkärrs IF with 0-3. In the Final, Dakota Rev Rampage won over LB07 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. FC Viikingit comes from Helsingfors which lies approximately 800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingfors does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (JäPS, Special Olympics Finland,, Helsingfors IFK, FC, HJK Helsinki, HooGee, FC Honka, NuPS/FC WILD YJ, PK-35, Tikkurilan Palloseura and Pajämäki).
