Munka-Ljungby IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Munka-Ljungby IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Munka-Ljungby IF could be found in Group 17 together with IF Brommapojkarna 8, Sagesse Brazilia and Azalea BK. Munka-Ljungby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against NK KRŠKO with 0-4. In the Final, NK KRŠKO won over ASIOP Apacint and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Munka-Ljungby comes from Ängelholm which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ängelholm does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Höganäs BK, WRY, Fortuna FF, Helsingborgs IF, Eskilsminne DIF, Billesholms IK, Ljungbyheds IF, Kullabygdens DFF, Vejby IF and Ängelholms FF).
