Hetlinger MTV

Hetlinger MTV was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Hetlinger MTV, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Hetlinger MTV could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Eskilstuna 1, KF Gjakova 1 and Valbo FF. Hetlinger MTV continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Fässbergs IF with 1-2. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Hetlinger comes from Hetlingen which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hetlingen does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: FC St. Pauli Hamburg, SV Blankenese, SV Rugenbergen, FC Este 2012, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, Kaltenkirchen TS, Walddörfer SV, Ellerau, SC, Halstenbek-Rellingen SV and SC Sperber).
