Bergnäsets AIK

Bergnäsets AIK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Bergnäsets AIK, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Bergnäsets AIK could be found in Group 39 together with Javan Hawk Academy, IFK Örby and JäPS 1. Bergnäsets AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Karlbergs BK with 0-1. In the Final, Karlslunds IF HFK won over Emmaboda Komb. and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Bergnäsets AIK comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Notvikens IK, Norrsken, FC, Sunderby SK, Lira BK, IFK Luleå and Gammelstads IF).
