Sörfors IF Umedalens IF

Sörfors IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sörfors IF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Sörfors IF Umedalens IF could be found in Group 13 together with Bergdalens IK, Hannover, HSC and Huddinge IF 1. Sörfors IF Umedalens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lake Norman with 0-5. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK won over Boo FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Sörfors comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Umedalens IF, Ersmarks IK, Hörnefors IF, Mariehem SK, IFK Umeå, Sandåkerns Sörfors SK, Tegs SK, Sandviks IK, Umeå Södra FF and Gimonäs Umeå IF).
