IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge IF

IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge IF could be found in Group 45 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 2, IF Elfsborg and Växjö Norra IF 2. IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 45. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Spånga IS FK with 0-2. In the Final, NK KRŠKO won over ASIOP Apacint and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. IFK Klagshamn/Vellinge comes from malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around malmö does also provide 27 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: LB07, Borgeby FK, Husie IF, BK Höllvikens, GIF Nike, Veberöds AIF, Viridis Skurup FC, IF Lödde, Trelleborgs FF and Staffanstorps GIF).
