Mariebergs SK

Mariebergs SK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Mariebergs SK, 122 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Mariebergs SK could be found in Group 10 together with Campion School, FK Lillehammer 2 and FC Amhult. Mariebergs SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 0-3. In the Final, IFK Stocksund won over CEF 18 Tucuman and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Mariebergs SK also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/32 Final in B12 Slutspel A, but lost it against Lärje/Angered IF with 0-10. Mariebergs SK comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 58 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Mälarhöjdens IK, Djurgården IF DFF, Boo FF, Djurgårdens IF, Hammarby IF, Karlbergs BK, Segeltorps IF and Spårvägens FF).
