Årsunda IF

Årsunda IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Årsunda IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Årsunda IF could be found in Group 21 together with P. Futbol Colombia, Stuvsta IF 2, Åsa IF and Marin FC. Årsunda IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hermandad Gallega de Venezuela with 0-2. In the Final, Sleipner, IK won over IF Brommapojkarna 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Årsunda comes from Årsunda which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Årsunda does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Gefle IF, Brynäs IF/FK, Valbo FF and Gävle GIK/FK).
