Ljungbyheds IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Ljungbyheds IF, 106 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 26 different groups, whereof Ljungbyheds IF could be found in Group 25 together with Kungsbacka IF, Performance Football Academy, TSV Bassum eV and IFK Stocksund Blå. Ljungbyheds IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Segeltorps IF with 3-10. In the Final, SKF Latvia SK Supernova won over Hammarby IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Ljungbyheds comes from Ljungbyhed which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ljungbyhed does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Hässleholms IF, FC Hessleholm, Fortuna FF, Helsingborgs IF, Eskilsminne DIF, Billesholms IK, IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF, Ängelholms FF and Trollenäs IF).
