Hörnefors IF

Hörnefors IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hörnefors IF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Hörnefors IF could be found in Group 5 together with AIK FF, Roanoke Star Premier and Harlösa IF /Hardeberga BK. Hörnefors IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Näsets SK with 0-10. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 98G Morgan won over BK Farum and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Hörnefors comes from Hörnefors which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hörnefors does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Umedalens IF, Ersmarks IK, Mariehem SK, IFK Umeå, Sörfors IF, Sandåkerns Sörfors SK, Tegs SK, Sandviks IK, Umeå Södra FF and Gimonäs Umeå IF).
