Cestria Girls FC

Cestria Girls FC was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Cestria Girls FC, 76 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof Cestria Girls FC could be found in Group 18 together with Ridabu/Ottestad, Uppåkra IF /Staffanstorp GIF and Hällbybrunns IF. Cestria Girls FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Dakota Rev Rampage with 0-1. In the Final, Dakota Rev Rampage won over LB07 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Cestria Girls FC also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/8 Final in G17 Slutspel A, but lost it against Piteå IF with 1-3. Cestria Girls FC comes from Durham which lies approximately 880 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
