Dhirumbhai Ambani

Dhirumbhai Ambani was one of 15 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Dhirumbhai Ambani, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Dhirumbhai Ambani could be found in Group 31 together with Cruz Azul Zona Esmeralda, FK Lillehammer and BK Höllviken. Dhirumbhai Ambani continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against St. Paul Blackhawks with 1-5. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Dhirumbhai Ambani comes from MUMBAI which lies approximately 6500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MUMBAI does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Youth Club Soccer Academy, Utpal Shanghvi School, Shakti Sports Academy, Campion School and Young Guns FA).
