Consadole Sapporo

Consadole Sapporo was one of two clubs from Japan that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Consadole Sapporo, 176 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Consadole Sapporo could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Östersund Vit, FK Fjellhamar and Lobatos Foot. Consadole Sapporo made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Kampala Junior Team with 2-3. Thereby Consadole Sapporo finished second in B16 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2013. Consadole Sapporo comes from SAPPORO which lies approximately 7900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
