Umedalens IF

Umedalens IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Umedalens IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Umedalens IF could be found in Group 3 together with Makati FC, Tynecastle Football Club and IF Örnen. Umedalens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Skiljebo SK with 0-2. In the Final, NK KRŠKO won over ASIOP Apacint and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Umedalens comes from Umeå which lies approximately 810 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Ersmarks IK, Hörnefors IF, Mariehem SK, IFK Umeå, Sörfors IF, Sandåkerns Sörfors SK, Tegs SK, Sandviks IK, Umeå Södra FF and Gimonäs Umeå IF).
