Backatorp IF

Backatorp IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Backatorp IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Backatorp IF could be found in Group 10 together with Vinne IL, TDT Brasil and Tegs SK. Backatorp IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Norrtulls SK with 0-4. In the Final, Sleipner, IK won over IF Brommapojkarna 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Backatorp originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 63 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Balltorps FF, Gerdskens BK, FC Amhult, Kållered SK, Mölndal Fotboll, Hovås-Billdal IF, IK Zenith, Öckerö IF, Qviding FIF and Särö IK).
