Chicago Nationals

Chicago Nationals was one of 30 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Chicago Nationals, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Chicago Nationals could be found in Group 34 together with Kungsbacka IF, Tullinge TP 1, Jönköpings Södra IF 2 and BV Werther 2. Chicago Nationals continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 0-1. In the Final, Beirut FAC won over San Javier Guadalajara and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 12. Chicago Nationals comes from Chicago which lies approximately 6700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
