JFC Skonto 2

JFC Skonto was one of two clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to JFC Skonto, 111 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof JFC Skonto 2 could be found in Group 6 together with Utbynäs SK 2, Finlandia-Pallo IF and Doxa Anoixis - Aqua Life. JFC Skonto 2 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Utbynäs SK 1 with 2-5. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby 1 won over KFV Segeberg 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 11. Other than JFC Skonto, the club Special Olympics Latvia does also originate from the area around .
