Cantolao, AD

Cantolao, AD was one of two clubs from Peru that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Cantolao, AD, 23 other teams from 10 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Cantolao, AD could be found in Group 3 together with Örebro SK, AIK FF and Midtjylland. Cantolao, AD continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Santos Laguna with 0-1. In the Final, Santos Laguna won over Djurgårdens IF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 17. Cantolao, AD comes from Callao 5, Lima which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Cantolao, AD, the club Markham School does also originate from the area around Callao 5, Lima.
