Västerås BK 30

Västerås BK 30 was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Västerås BK 30, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Västerås BK 30 could be found in Group 25 together with Bergnäsets AIK, Texas Spirit SC 97/98/ and Tölö IF. Västerås BK 30 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CSK VVS Samara 1 with 1-2. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Gamla Upsala SK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 15. Västerås 30 comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Triangelns IK, Skiljebo SK, BK Sport, IFK Eskilstuna, IK Viljan, IFK Västerås FK, Surahammars FK, Skogstorps GoIF, Barkarö SK and Kvicksunds SK).
