SF Ippendorf

SF Ippendorf was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to SF Ippendorf, 111 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof SF Ippendorf could be found in Group 20 together with Bath, Annebergs IF and Interesporte. SF Ippendorf continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Accademia Gaggiano and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 11. SF Ippendorf comes from Bonn which lies approximately 840 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than SF Ippendorf, the club VfL Meckenheim does also originate from the area around Bonn.
