SK Wigör 1

SK Wigör was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to SK Wigör, 39 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof SK Wigör 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Näsets SK, Huddinge IF and Salon Palloilijat. SK Wigör 1 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hönö/Björkö with 0-5. In the Final, Kullabygdens DFF won over Marin FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 13. SK Wigör comes from Märsta which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Märsta does also provide 41 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Spånga IS FK, IF Brommapojkarna, AIK FF, Älvsjö AIK FF, Upsala IF, Bollstanäs SK, Rosersberg IK, Rö IK, Värtans IK and DFF, Vasalunds).
