Vagnhärads SK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Vagnhärads SK, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Vagnhärads SK could be found in Group 27 together with TDT Brasil, Skurups AIF, Charterhouse School and Asker FB. Vagnhärads SK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna City FK 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Paris F.C won over Cruzeiro EC and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16. Vagnhärads SK comes from Trosa which lies approximately 350 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trosa does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Hargs BK, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, Nyköpings BIS, Runtuna IK, Pershagens SK, IFK Nyköping, Telge United FF, IFK Tumba, Nykvarns SK and New Mill Indians SK).
