Lenzie Youth Club

Lenzie Youth Club was one of four clubs from Scotland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Lenzie Youth Club, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Lenzie Youth Club could be found in Group 13 together with Lindö FF Norrköping, Kubikenborgs IF 1 and TSV Krefeld-Bockum. Lenzie Youth Club continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against First Touch FC with 0-1. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Lenzie Youth comes from G66 4DG Glasgow which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Lenzie Youth Club, the club Stewarton Annick FC does also originate from the area around G66 4DG Glasgow.
